WORKING HARD ON A CYANOGENMOD VERSION FOR FAMILY DROID...

RootzWiki member drewX2 has managed to port a booting build of CyanogenMod 10 to the Droid DNA, in which one of the biggest hurdles has been cleared - it now has working Internet access (though only on 3G/4G). Calls can be made and received but sound isn't yet working (though the OP told me that text and MMS work), but this is still a huge step forward. Now that drewX2 has working radio for the DNA, a fully functional CM build could drop at any time.

Calls are still not working at the moment, so it's not a daily driver yet, but is certainly indicative that a fully-working build is very near, as RIL is the last remaining obstacle to running CM10 and other AOSP ROMs on Big Red's latest and greatest.

If you feel froggy (and if you don't mind using the DNA as a mini-tablet with no audio for a while) you can jump on the CyanogenMod bandwagon by flashing this zip (note: if you don't have S-Off, you need to unzip the file and flash the included boot.img separately) and grab the 10/11/2012 Google Apps package here. I plan to test this out for myself, and will post a brief review accordingly.
